This past Memorial Day weekend was an important one
for White nationalists across the United States. The
New Jersey Patriot Gathering was hosted by Rich Lindstrom’s
Unit of White patriots in the New Jersey/New York area.
James Kelso, Senior Stormfront Moderator, also made
this event a great success was by using his position
on Stormfront.org to unite local patriots who have never
before had personal contact with each other.
Friday started out with the arrivals of speakers and
attendees for the weekend’s events. Once all of
the arrivals met up at the hotel, we went out to what
would soon be our favorite diner in New Jersey, to eat
excellent food and get reacquainted with old friends and meet
many new ones. Most importantly we talked about and
prepared for the big event that Rich Lindstrom would
host the following day.
Saturday came and we started out the day by eating
breakfast in the same diner where we ate the night before.
Next, we meet up with the fine activists of Rich’s
Unit at his meeting hall. Folks came from all over the
country to be at this event. I believe the one who traveled
the farthest was from Seattle, Washington. We started
the day of socializing with like-minded folks and exchanged
ideas on how to best promote our pro-nationalist message.
When it came time for the speeches and talks to get
underway, Rich took the microphone to welcome everyone
to the New Jersey Patriot Gathering. He talked about
the types of activism his Unit takes part in and how
important it is that we all keep our activism up –
especially through difficult and trying times. Following
the loud applause for Rich, I went up to tell the folks
who traveled both near and far about our organization,
the Nationalist Coalition.
The message I wanted to leave with people about the
Nationalist Coalition is that our organization is like
no other, and that it has had safeguards put in place
so it won’t suffer the same fate as many of the
great organizations of the past. I also wanted folks
to be inspired to join an organization that they could
work with on the national level, but at the same time
keep the Chapter’s money at the local level. I
finished up the presentation with showing some of the
multimedia capabilities that we have advanced by leaps
and bounds since only a few years ago.
After my brief presentation, James Kelso got up to
show everyone the Stormfront promotional DVD that was
produced by Murrey Media Productions. It was a very
clean and effective advertisement for one of our favorite
websites, Stormfront.org. With all these new talented
artists working for our people to create a true media
force, I see the future being bright.
As Jamie finished, Rich went back up to the podium
to recharge our batteries and tell us about the excellent
dinner that we would later be served. Before Rich walked
away from the podium everyone in the
meeting hall released a cheer so loud that people outside
probably thought that it was starting to thunder.
The next presentation in line was a talk between Evan
Thomas and Bob Whitaker. I must say that both of these
individuals delivered pretty interesting speeches. At
one end you had Bob Whittaker, who has to be one of
the funniest men that our cause has to offer. He spoke
about activism from the perspective of a man who has
been an activist for many years, and knows what works
and what doesn’t. Evan, on the other hand, represented
the youth of our cause, and the one who is going to
pick up where his White nationalist predecessors left
off. Many of us who have spent time with Bob all know
what a great sense of humor he has and can make anyone
laugh.
After spending the day listening to various speakers,
Rich and his New Jersey Unit fixed a most delicious
dinner, which we enjoyed in the company of good fellowship.
While eating , James Kelso explained to all of us the
game plain for our big trip to the Metropolitan Museum
of Fine arts in New York City the following day. Luckily
we were able to have some friendly folks living in New
York that helped us get a general idea of how to get
around in the Big Apple.
Sunday came and we reignited our tradition of visiting
our favorite diner for breakfast. After that we made
our way into the City. When we arrived at the museum,
I was really amazed how large the place was. With a
giant neo-classical building with seemingly countless
exhibits, one immediately realized that it would take
days to really get to see and enjoy everything. The
most astonishing works of art had to have been that
of classical Roman-Greco artists all the way to the
many great early American painters such as Winslow Homer.
They even had one section that had a great collection
of armor and weaponry.
Unfortunately the Memorial Day weekend came to a close
and all those who traveled had to go back home. Being
in the company of so many folks that have the same hopes
and dreams as yourself is most enjoyable and makes me
look forward to the next time that we will all meet
up again. Without the hard work of Rich Lindstrom and
the New Jersey Unit, as well as James Kelso, this weekend
would have not been possible; thank you.
